How it all started

In 2019, while Aucklander Sam was managing a small renovation project at his family property, he noticed how difficult it was to find reliable, short-term contractors for day to-day tasks like material handling, minor repairs, and cleanup. Booking the job was easy—but securing skilled workers on short notice proved nearly impossible.

Through conversations with managers at various construction sites and project hubs, Sam quickly realized that temporary staffing was a widespread challenge across the industry.

With a background in technology and inspired by the strong work ethic and close family values of his New Zealand Indian heritage, he set out to build a smart, efficient platform to connect construction sites directly with qualified local contractors—making it simple to fill roles quickly and keep projects moving.
